After outstanding performances at the Hilltop Invitational on Saturday, Mount Mercy senior Larissa Wilden, Clinton HS, swept the league awards this week, earning Midwest Collegiate Conference Women’s Track and Women’s Field Athlete of the Week honors for Feb. 4.

Wilden, who already shared the NAIA’s top mark in the high jump this season, is now alone at the top after a school record leap of 5′-7 3/4″ at Cornell’s Small Multi-Sport Center. On the track, she won the 60 meter hurdles in :09.12, a personal best and an NAIA provisional qualifying mark that put her 13th in the nation. Wilden also finished third in the 200 meter dash in :27.59.
