Megan Glisar Starting on the Right Foot

Megan Glisar, a four time state champion in the High Jump at Sergeant Bluff-Luton, has started her first season at the University of South Dakota off on the right foot.

Glisar, set a meet record as South Dakota track and field held itsfourth annual Red-White Meet at the DakotaDome on Friday, December 8.  The meet serves as a preseason event and the results did not count in
any qualification standards or national rankings.  Glisar jumped 5 feet-9 inches in the high jump to set a new meet record.  She would rank fifth in NCAA Division I this year according to the Track and Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS), which is a database that compiles track and field results nationwide Glisar, a junior, started her career at the University of Iowa then transferred to Morningside for her sophomore season.  While at Morningside she won 2 GPAC titles, the NAIA Indoor crown and was 2nd
outdoors. She will back in Division 1 at South Dakota and the Coyotes compete inthe Summit League Conference.
